As a technical writer and editor, I have experience editing IT focused technical texts, with a focus on refining dense subject matter into language that is understandable. I’ve translated workplace materials and operational manuals to ensure accessibility across teams, and am skilled in guiding users step by step through processes and workflows.

Samantha Lopez is a writer and editor based in New York City. She currently works in communications strategy specialized in producing, publishing and managing digital media content for websites, social media channels, online platforms and campaigns. With a love for storytelling, a meticulous editorial eye, and a passion for analyzing culture — from politics, to music, to the food we love to eat — she is routinely focused on how this information is relayed through media.
Outside of work, Samantha’s interests include taking photos with her Nikon, cooking and baking while perusing her many playlists, finding the next book to be immersed in and going to as many concerts as possible. Ideally, music is playing all the time. Her culinary credentials include growing up in the incredibly diverse borough of Queens, as well as deeply appreciating learning and reading about food and how it brings all of us together.
